Groundbreaking planned for Milford corporate center

The City of Milford is set to break ground on a $17.9 million corporate center, marking a major step in the city’s efforts to bring high-paying, permanent jobs to the community. The project, years in the making, will transform the former Fry Farm property into a commercial development with space for up to 27 businesses. Construction is expected to be completed next year and will include new roads, traffic improvements, public walking paths and additional buffers for nearby residents.

Milford Corporate Center, set to hold 27 businesses, breaks ground March 4

Construction is set to begin on Milford Corporate Center, a 180-acre business park at Northwest Harrington Highway (Route 14) and Canterbury Road (Route 15). Developed through a partnership between the City of Milford and Emory Hill, the $17.99 million project will feature 27 build-to-suit lots designed to accommodate businesses ranging from small offices to large industrial and e-commerce operations. The development will include walking trails, a new water tower and sewage pumping station, along with road improvements and a roundabout to improve access. Supported by Site Readiness and TIIF grants, the project is expected to attract new businesses, create jobs and strengthen Milford’s local economy.

Milford officials set to break ground for corporate center

Milford officials will break ground Tuesday, March 4, at 11 a.m. on the new Milford Corporate Center at N.W. Harrington Highway and Canterbury Road. The 180-acre development, marketed by NAI Emory Hill, will feature 27 parcels ranging from 3.2 to 8.4 acres, offering opportunities for businesses from small offices to large industrial operations. Plans also include a sewage-pumping station, new water tower, walking trails, signage and a roundabout. The project is supported by a $2.7 million Delaware Site Readiness Fund grant for critical improvements.
